According to Reporters Without Borders, Russia is ranked 148 of 180 countries in press freedom level. However, only 11% of the population is dissatisfied with the level of freedom of expression in the country.

This film gives voice to that small portion of Russians who are not satisfied and who, moreover, are also suffering the consequences of saying what they think. Many of them have gone to prison and some have even seen colleagues die.

Journalists, human rights activists, lawyers, artists and opposition politicians describe the country’s complex mentality and the government’s methods to silence any dissenting voices.

While this small resistance continues to struggle, Vladimir Putin’s popularity reaches 82%.
